Toronto born and educated from Grade School through University, Sue’s interests, at that time leaned toward raising a family and being an active participant in sports.

A 5 year sojourn in Europe, in the 1960’s, brought exposure to art in all it’s forms, and a new interest began to emerge. Many years later, after retiring from the work force, an artist friend and teacher convinced Sue to take up painting.

Since the mid 1990’s, she has attended workshops with well known artists to help improve her skills in different media. Sue has exhibited in many juried shows and non-juried shows and has won several awards. Sue has many paintings in private collections and has done a few commissions.

Sue is a Signature Member of the Toronto Watercolour Society as well as a member of the Willowdale Group of Artists, the North York Visual Artists, the Scarborough Arts Council, the Don Valley Art Club and the Quest Art Group in Midland.

Winter in Toronto
